Stir-fried Tempeh and Green Beans aka Oseng buncis tempe
Ingredients:
1 block of tempeh (395g)
350g green beans
Olive oil
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp granulated mushroom (optional)
2 tsp sugar
150ml water
Salt and pepper to taste
Spice paste:
1/2 large red bell pepper
2 shallots
3 garlic cloves
2 candlenuts
Instructions:
- Blend the spice paste ingredients, then set aside.
- Cut the tempeh into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan for frying, fry the tempeh until golden brown, then set aside.
- In the same pan, add more oil, then add the spice paste and cook for about 4-5 minutes. Add the green beans and water, stir.
- Next, add the fried tempeh and all the seasonings. Cook until the green beans are tender.
- Serve with hot rice
