Kolache are Czech and Slovak sweet pastries that are made with yeast dough. Bakeries make both sweet (fruit/cheese) and savory versions (sausage/egg). The first time I had these was years ago in Texas, so I was thrilled to find King’s Kolache in Brooklyn!
