Oh, this recipe!! So perfect for movie nights, game nights, and anytime you need a sweet snack. I’m giving some to friends and family for Valentine’s Day!
Sweet Cinnamon Nuts and Seeds
Ingredients
1 Cup Pecans (unsalted)
1 Cup Walnuts
1 Cup Pumpkin Seeds
1.5 Tbsp Coconut oil, melted
2 Tbsp Five Spice
2 tsp Vanilla extract
1/4 Cup Maple Syrup @costco
1 tsp Salt
Step 1. Coat your crockpot with Avacodo oil or Coconut oil.
Step 2. Add all ingredients to your crockpot and combine everything.
Step 3. Cook the mixture for
1 hour on high
Step 4. Remove the crock pot lid and stir the nuts. Place the lid back on the crock pot and cook on the high setting for another hour.
Step 5. After that next hour is up, remove the lid, stir, and cook for one more hour on low with the lid off. (So a total of 3 hours.)
Step 6. Once done cooking, pour your nut mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 7. Allow the nut mix to cool overnight so it can harden. Then enjoy!
This mix is an excellent addition to a snack cart and makes a yummy treat for Valentine’s Day!
