A short video about my old friend Kenji and some updates about him. Some clips older from when he was a cub and growing up as a captive cheetah at this breeding center. He is still doing well and had cubs that were sent to other projects in South Africa.

I show some of the clever things Kenji did and lead into how I try empathizing with the animals I encounter and mimic their behavior to better understand them and provide overall better care for them. Connecting on all levels helps me provide better physical and mental care for them and I simply love doing it.

Grew a beard during Covid times and decided to keep it as it helps protect me from getting cut from these cats sharp tongues that are covered by 100s of spines that cut skin with just a few licks. The cats LOVE to groom beards and is instinctive to them and a pleasure doing it with those they consider friends.
