???????? Classic Lemon & Vanilla Madeleines Recipe
Ingredients:
• 160g melted butter (cooled)
• 90g powdered sugar
• Zest of 1 lemon
• 1 tbsp vanilla extract
• 3 eggs (room temperature)
• 6g baking powder
• 140g flour
• A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Batter:
• In a bowl, whisk the eggs, powdered sugar, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
• Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt, then gently fold into the mixture.
• Gradually add the melted butter and mix until smooth.
2. Chill the Batter:
• Cover the batter and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3. Bake the Madeleines:
• Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
• Grease a madeleine mold and fill each cavity with batter (about ¾ full).
• Bake for 9 minutes until golden and slightly puffed.
4. Cool & Serve:
